Class Descriptions

  • Early Evening Yoga | Monday, Wednesday, | 6:30 pm to 7 pm  

    A delightful, warming opportunity to unwind from the day, with meditation, playful asanas/Yoga poses, with closing relaxation

  • Morning Yoga | Wednesday, Friday | 10:30 am to 11:00 am
    Shared session to acknowledge more deeply the inner self and bring deepening awareness to what is… Beginning with relaxation, varied fun Yoga poses, with deepening, closing relaxation.
  • Tuesday Chair Yoga | 12 noon to 12:30 pm
    For those not sure if standing brings comfort, using a walker, cane, or wheelchair. Guaranteed to lift the spirit and body. Strengthen muscles and enhance flexibility while having fun. Begin, end with relaxation, poetry or thought for the day.
  • Thursday Morning Blended: Chair plus Mat  12:00 noon to 12:30 P.M

       For those comfortable with standing plus using chair as prop.  Begin in chair for             opening and perhaps closing relaxation period.  Will work on our respective Core           strengthening and flexibility.  Ending relaxation with poetry/thought.

  • Thursday Restorative Yoga: Chair | 6:30pm to 7:00 P.M.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Claudette began to study Yoga as a discipline to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. She formally completed the study and graduated RYT/ Registered Yoga Teacher in May 2006, from the Namaste Yoga Studio, under the Director- Ms. Linda Makowski.

Claudette completed Teacher Training Course at Yoga Chakra Foundation Rishikesh, India in 2007 as well. She deeply appreciates guidance from longtime Yoga mentors:  Ms. Gail Twitty and Mrs. Tamara Lee.  

Claudette finds yoga truly invigorating and appreciates learning its Nubian origins and the Hindu written application. Applying the many health remedies and respecting the universality of Yoga is her earnest honor.
